Working in a team with little or no supervision at times. Operate 4 computer systems: CMIS, ICE, iPM, and Evolve. Input patient details and accurate medical information onto the systems. Update patient details on all systems as required.
Ensure documentation is available in advance for antenatal clinic appointments. Make new booking appointments in the New-Booking diary from Midwives and create appointment/letters to send to patients. Take calls from women who want to 'self-refer' for maternity services.
Make appointments on iPM for clinic follow-up appointments and patients and GP's as required. Ensure effective communication pathways within the multi-disciplinary team and external agencies. Maintain a non-judgemental and supportive environment for colleagues.

Responsibilities
* Direct patients and visitors to other Departments, Wards, and Clinic Windows/areas in a courteous manner.
* Liaise with Midwives, Consultants, and other Departments regarding clinics and general enquiries.
* Cancel rescheduled clinics and contact patients to cancel/reschedule appointments.
* Pull clinic case notes in advance and ensure all notes are available.
* File patients' notes in the filing area correctly.
* Maintain complete confidentiality of any information required in the workplace.
