Reporting into the HGV and Tankering Manager you will safely operate the HGV wastewater tanker, collecting and transporting liquid waste from commercial, industrial, and residential sites to designated disposal facilities. Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while delivering a professional and efficient service.
More about the role:
1. Drive and operate an HGV wastewater tanker in accordance with UK road laws and company policies.
2. Drive and maintain the HGV vehicle, ensuring compliance with road transport laws and company policies.
3. Respond to emergency callouts for drainage blockages and flooding issues.
4. Follow site safety procedures, including working in confined spaces and handling hazardous waste.
5. Complete job reports, risk assessments, and customer documentation accurately.
6. Maintain equipment and report any defects or maintenance needs.
7. Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients professionally.
8. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safe disposal of waste.
