Job Title: Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry to join our NHS client based in Inverness, Scotland.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct psychiatric assessments, formulate accurate diagnoses, and prescribe appropriate pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.
* Provide consultation and support to primary care providers, community mental health teams, and other stakeholders involved in the care of adults with mental health needs.
* Participate in service development initiatives, quality improvement projects, and research activities to enhance mental health care delivery for adults.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Full GMC license to practice.
* Relevant previous experience in this type of position.
* Section 12/RC approval is essential.
* Approved clinician status is desirable but not essential.
