Swindon Renal Unit is a Satellite Unit of Oxford Kidney Unit and provides an Outpatient Service of Haemodialysis and Renal Clinics for patients in Swindon and the surrounding Wiltshire.

Swindon Renal Unit is a nurse led unit with a highly motivated team committed to a high quality of service, developing individual potential and continuing education. The unit has strong links with the Oxford Kidney Unit and Oxford Brookes University which enable the educational and professional development of staff. This is a very good and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Care support worker Band who will be willing to support the Registered Nurses in carrying out care to haemodialysis patients and to take on extra Link Roles. This is a very good and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated CSW who will be willing to learn new skills particularly Haemodialysis. The successful applicant will support patients undergoing regular haemodialysis treatment which will involve a multitude of skills including patients education and application technology. They will be supported and trained by the haemodialysis staff in order to acquire the needed skills and knowledge.
