Are you passionate about ensuring the safety of the buildings within your community? This role might be for you! We are looking for two Fire Safety Inspectors to join our dedicated Protection team. Fire Safety Inspector Various Locations within Nottinghamshire 37 hours (Monday–Friday) Fixed-term contract of 24 months Career Graded Post: Grade 4 – 5 £30,559 - £36,124 Please note: Applicants must be authorised to work in the UK The role of the Protection team is to direct its inspection and enforcement activities to premises that pose the greatest risk to life, property and the environment. As a competent Fire Safety Inspector, you will form part of a team carrying out inspections within a wide range of premises to regulate and enforce statutory fire safety legislation, provide fire safety advice, and evaluate fire safety design submissions. Key Responsibilities To undertake inspections of non-complex and complex (depending on progression through the career grade) premises in accordance with fire safety legislation Provide advice and guidance on fire safety and relevant legislation to business owners, internal staff, and the public Prepare fire safety reports and liaise with other regulatory agencies Why NFRS?
