We seek compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our team. Your key role will be to enhance residents' daily lives by providing essential physical, emotional, and social support, working closely with residents, families, managers and healthcare professionals to meet individual care needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting residents with activities of their daily living i.e. personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
* Supporting resident mobility issues, including safe use of handling equipment
* Assisting at mealtimes and monitoring and recording intake.
* Engaging residents in social activities daily
* Observing and promptly reporting changes in residents' health to the Nurse in Charge and Management
* Maintaining accurate resident care records.
* Assisting with light domestic tasks for a clean, safe environment.
* Communicating effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
* Adhering to care plans, policies (safeguarding, H&S, infection control etc.).
About You (Skills & Qualifications):
* Essential: Right to work in UK and Previous care experience. Passionate about caring for others; kind, patient, reliable, good communicator (verbal/written English), great team player; respects confidentiality and residents' rights.
* Desirable: NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care diploma
