We are seeking an experienced
Hair & Beauty Lecturer
to deliver a
new Level 4 Beauty course.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified beauty professional with teaching experience to support learners at an advanced level.
Working Hours
* 16 hours per week
* Tuesday:
6 hours
* Wednesday:
5 hours
* Thursday:
5 hours

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality
practical and theoretical Hair & Beauty lessons
* Plan and prepare
schemes of work
and lesson materials
* Assess student work and provide constructive feedback
* Track learner progress and maintain accurate records
* Ensure teaching spaces meet
industry and health & safety standards
* Keep up to date with
current industry techniques and trends
* Liaise with awarding bodies and support college quality processes
* Contribute to student support and extracurricular activities where required
Essential Qualifications & Experience
* Qualified Teacher Status
, holding one of the following:
* PGCE
* QTS
* Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training
* Level 3 or above qualification
in:
* Beauty Therapy
and/or
Hairdressing
* Assessor qualification
(essential)
* IQA qualification
(desirable)
* Relevant
industry experience
* Previous
teaching experience
