Position: 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant – ASD Focus
Salary: £90–£100 per day (Depending on experience)
Location: Pevensey
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract: Short-term, Day-to-Day Supply
Are you a patient and dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)?
GSL Education are recruiting a committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support for a pupil with ASD in a welcoming primary school in Pevensey, East Sussex. This flexible, day-to-day supply role offers a rewarding chance to make a real difference.
About the Role
* Provide individualised 1:1 support to a pupil with ASD to help them access learning and daily routines
* Adapt activities and resources to meet the pupil’s specific needs and learning style
* Collaborate closely with teachers and SENCO to implement strategies and monitor progress
* Support the development of communication, social, and behavioural skills in line with the pupil’s needs

What We’re Looking For
* Experience supporting children with ASD and SEN in a school setting
* Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Must have suitable references and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply)
