The Role: Technical Authority and People Manager
Your responsibilities will include spearheading the planning, programming, and coordination of complex urban drainage projects. You will establish and uphold technical governance, delivery excellence, and best practices across all tasks. You will play a significant role in the management, mentorship, and technical development of our junior and intermediate modellers, and provide substantial input into cost estimates and high‑value bids. You will collaborate as a key contributor within our wider multidisciplinary team across the UK and international offices to deliver projects of national significance.
About You: The Expertise We Need
We are looking for individuals who embody technical authority, leadership, and client focus. Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant field such as Civil Engineering. Extensive experience leading major projects within the urban drainage environment and expert knowledge of InfoWorks ICM. Proven experience in managing, developing, and mentoring staff, with the ability to provide technical leadership. Membership of a relevant institution (e.g., CIWEM, ICE) is expected. Experience in data science or digital solutions would be a strong advantage.
