Overview
Active (Pathways) Solutions are seeking skilled and motivated SPEN CP Authorised Electrician/Wireman to join our team. You\'ll be supporting a range of substation projects across Paisley and Glasgow contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of high-voltage electrical works.
Responsibilities
* Panel wiring
Requirements
* Valid and up-to-date documentation - including CSCS/ECS card, Safety Passport, and relevant Scottish Power authorisations.
* Proven substation experience - previous work on National Grid or DNO sites is essential.
* Verifiable references - able to provide evidence of experience and competency within the substation or high-voltage industry.

* Show excellent attention to detail - ensuring precision, quality, and safety at all times.
* Work effectively as part of a team - collaborating with multi-discipline site crews.
* Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills - adapting confidently to changing site conditions.
Desirable Additional Qualifications
* IPAF (MEWP)
* Telehandler (CPCS or NPORS)
* PASMA
* First Aid
* Manual Handling
* Abrasive Wheels
* Other relevant industry-related courses
