Quantity Surveyor – Manchester City Council
Fox Morris Group are working to recruit a Quantity Surveyor
Improve the lives of children and young people living in residential care, with a system shift in quality and standards of homes available. To achieve the purchase of 10 Homes; reduction of revenue; deliver social care improvements; improve wellbeing and educational output by environment changes; obtain Ofsted certification and ensure that lease / life cycle management improvements are achieved.
* Identify home’s type/location for providing provision of care
* Carry out RICS level L3 Surveys and Valuations
* Facilitate and manage the Legal title, planning and risk assessments activity
* Obtain Appraisal reports and Property board approvals
Pre-Acquisition
* Identify and assess potential property acquisition opportunities for Skyline children’s homes on a rolling 4-week cycle, maintaining and updating the Skyline tracker
* Coordinate with Service Providers and Local Authorities to shortlist opportunities and secure initial approvals via desktop review
* Arrange and lead joint property viewings with key stakeholders to support suitability assessments
* Present viable opportunities to the Property Advisory Group to obtain formal endorsement
Due Diligence, Approvals & Acquisition
* Commission and manage condition surveys, valuations, and legal due diligence following acceptance of an expression of interest
* Oversee the end-to-end conveyancing process through to completion
* Prepare Board reports and secure all required internal approvals prior to exchange and completion.
