Job Description:
IQ-EQ is part of a leading Investor Services group that combines global expertise with a focus on client service delivery. We support fund managers, global companies, family offices, and private clients worldwide. The role requires a team player with attention to detail and organizational skills to meet deadlines and manage priorities effectively.
Your primary responsibility will be to act as a front office contact for private equity, real estate, credit, or debt fund clients. You will work within a supportive team, manage your tasks proactively, and resolve issues as they arise.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage designated Private Equity or Real Estate Clients daily activities.
2. Review quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
3. Coordinate with your line manager and technical team to ensure compliance with reporting standards such as UK GAAP or IFRS.
4. Review investor drawdown and distribution calculations for accuracy.
5. Communicate cash movements between the Fund and investors effectively.
6. Oversee the preparation and monitoring of client deliverables, ensuring timeliness.
7. Conduct regular client calls to maintain open communication with CFOs or financial controllers.
8. Mentor and support team members, sharing expertise on designated clients and funds.
9. Understand and ensure compliance with the accounting framework specified in the fund's legal documentation.
10. Contribute ideas for process improvements to gain efficiencies or reduce risks.
Qualifications and Experience:
* ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified, qualified by experience, or equivalent.
* At least 3 years of professional experience, preferably with experience reviewing financial statements and disclosures.
* Experience managing client relationships and resolving issues directly with clients.
* Support and mentorship experience with less experienced team members.
