We are looking for a passionate and resilient SEMH Primary Teaching Assistant to join an Outstanding specialist primary school in Hayes, West London. The school supports children with an EHCP for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), with a particular focus on behavioural, social and emotional needs.
The school is part of a forward-thinking academy trust and currently has nine nurturing classes—Hazel, Elm, Maple, Lime, Chestnut, Ash, Pine, Oak and Beech—designed to meet the individual learning and developmental needs of its pupils.

Your role will include:
Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups across the primary age range
Helping children develop both academically and emotionally
Encouraging positive behaviour and resilience
Working closely with teachers and therapists to provide a holistic approach to learning
What we’re looking for:
Experience supporting children with SEND/SEMH is desirable, but not essential
A patient, empathetic and adaptable nature
A commitment to helping children thrive both in and out of the classroom
Full-time availability (Monday–Friday, 8:15am–4:00pm)
