Teaching Assistant – SEN Support
Location: Sale | Start Date: ASAP | Hours: Full-time (8:30am – 3:30pm)
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a well-regarded primary school in Sale, currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This full-time role involves working both one-to-one and with small groups of children who have a range of SEN diagnoses.
The school is rated ‘Good’ and is committed to nurturing the development of every child—spiritually, physically, socially, and intellectually. They are looking for someone who shares their inclusive ethos and can make a meaningful difference in the lives of their pupils.
The Role Includes
* Supporting pupils with SEN in their learning and day-to-day activities
* Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering differentiated lessons
* Delivering one-to-one interventions to help pupils meet individual learning goals
* Contributing to a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
* Assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Working collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals to support pupils holistically
What We’re Looking For
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Relevant experience supporting children or young people with SEN
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* A team player with a proactive and flexible approach
* Level 2 Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete—training provided)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
