About The Role
We are looking for a Children's Care Team Leader to join our team who has a passion for providing a high standard of support that enables young people to learn and develop through education and positive life experiences.
Position: Children's Care Team Leader
Location:Hadleigh, Ipswich (IP7)
Hours:42 hours per week, you must be available to commit to working across a variety of shifts on a rota.

For Support Worker positions although an understanding of the role is desirable, it is not essential as training will be provided. Ideally, you will:
* Hold or be willing to work towards a NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
* Have previous experience supporting children and young people with learning disabilities
You will need to be adaptable and flexible with excellent communication skills and able to work as part of the team.
The role
* You will provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower our young people to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they wish, in line with their individual support plans, you will need to be able to complete a range of records and documents.
* Promote the health, well-being, physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual beliefs of the people supported and ensure they are met in an inclusive way.
* Facilitating social, educational and play or recreational activities of their choice. Supporting them to maintain contact with families or significant others is a key priority.
* The role requires you to undertake all aspects of day to day household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and shopping. Our young people also need to be supported to manage their personal care and hygiene.

About The Service
We are an established service provider predominately based in both Suffolk and Essex and available to support referrals from other counties.
We provide both flexible and person centred residential services and supported living services for children/young people concentrating on promoting individuals life skill and independence.
