Support Worker- Learning Disabilities and Mental Health

Location: Saltdean, Brighton

Hours- 37.5 hours per weekGlenholme is continuously expanding, and we're looking for passionate and experienced Support Workers to join our growing team! * A Salary increase to £12.35 once you have completed our paid-for-care certificate (An industry-recognised qualification)

Your Role as a Support Worker:

* Provide person-centred care, supporting individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs in their daily lives
* Encourage independence, choice, and personal development
* Support with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
* Assist with managing behaviours, promoting emotional wellbeing, and fostering social inclusion
* Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and the wider support team

What We're Looking For:

* Previous experience working with learning disabilities and mental health (essential)
* A compassionate and patient approach to care
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A commitment to supporting independence and dignity
* Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
