As a Legal Cashier, you’ll be at the heart of the practice, ensuring smooth financial management in line with the conveyancing compliance requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing client and office accounts
* Dealing with SDLT payments and Land Registry fee transactions
* Preparing and processing electronic payments, CHAPS, and faster payments
* Carrying out daily and monthly bank reconciliations
* Processing purchase ledger invoices and office payments
* Liaising with fee earners and solicitors

You will be a confident and skilled Legal Cashier. You’ll be confident running processes independently and comfortable working as the sole finance professional within a small but busy and fast growing law firm.
You will have:
* Proven experience as a Legal Cashier
* Strong knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* The ability to work independently and take initiative
* A proactive, professional, and approachable manner
