We are currently seeking an Operational Accountant to join our finance team, based at our head office at Helen Street, Glasgow. Roles and Responsibilities Managing banks- daily processing across multiple ledgers and currencies (primarily GBP and EUR) Reconciling the card and cash receipts- i.e. supporting the sites on their banking Coordinating between the sites and cash collection companies to ensure the cash is collected and banked on time Setting up payments for weekly customer refunds, and other payments required Reporting the cash outs/petty cash expenses from the tills to management, highlighting anything unusual Processing weekly expense claims from employees- collating receipts, getting approval from the CEO/COO and setting up payments Managing the company credit cards. Primary contact for ensuring intercompany squares across all ledgers and companies Processing intercompany recharges (e.g. payroll) General ledger management- posting of transactions (sales/accruals/prepayment journals etc) Month end reconciliations as required KPI reporting Cover for other people in finance during holidays, peak times etc Who would the role suit?
