The Best Connection Employment Group are currently seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers for one of our key clients in Basingstoke. Rate of Pay: £17.00 per hour (days) £18.00 per hour (nights) £25.50 per hour (overtime/weekends) Minimum of 8.5 hours Hours of Work: ADHOC work Start between 5am-7am until finish Responsibilities of the Class 1 Driver: Operate a Class 1 vehicle from Basingstoke to various locations Load and unload vehicle using roll cages Perform complete pre and post operation inspection of the vehicle (tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls) Report any safety issues on standard reports Adhere to assigned delivery schedule and follow all job directives precisely Interact with dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all tasks are carried out in a timely and professional manner Follow all required safety policies and procedures Requirements of the Class 1 Driver: Ability to successfully pass a driving assessment Category CE Licence CPC Digi Tacho The successful candidate will possess a current and valid Category CE Licence, Digi Tacho and CPC card.
