We are looking for a committed Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in L24, supporting children with autism in small SEN classes. This is a rewarding role for someone who thrives in a nurturing environment and is passionate about helping young learners reach their potential.

About the Role

5. Supporting children on a one to one basis who are on EHCP’s or who are currently being assessed

6. Assisting with activity-based, creative lessons that encourage engagement, independence, and social skills.

7. Working closely with the class teacher and SEN team to deliver tailored support.

8. Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

What We’re Looking For

9. Experience supporting children with SEND, particularly autism, is highly desirable.

10. Patience, empathy, and resilience – with a genuine passion for supporting children’s development.

11. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.

12. Commitment to fostering inclusion and celebrating each child’s achievements.
