We're excited to welcome a skilled HR Advisor to our Household vertical! This role will primarily support the Monarch Water business, while also lending assistance to other Business Units as needed.
Located in the beautiful town of Diss, Norfolk, as our HR Advisor, you'll be essential in providing top-notch advice, guidance, and support to both managers and employees on a variety of HR topics. Collaborating closely with the Lead HR Business Partner, you'll have the opportunity to support the Monarch leadership team through meaningful business partnerships—fostering a positive workplace culture, advancing our talent initiatives, and helping us achieve our goal of being an employer of choice while promoting sustainable business growth.

Key Areas Of Responsibility
Employee Relations & HR Support
* Provide timely, accurate HR advice to managers and employees, ensuring people issues are handled fairly, consistently, and in line with policy and employment law
* Manage ER cases from initial query to resolution, using sound judgement to balance risk with positive people outcomes
* Coach managers to strengthen their confidence and capability in leading their teams, reinforcing expectations around consistent, values led people management
Business Partnering & Culture Leadership
* Partner with the Monarch leadership team to shape and embed a high performance, inclusive culture aligned to our values and growth objectives
* Use insights from engagement surveys, turnover trends, stay interviews and exit data to support culture improvement plans
Talent, Capability & Development
* Support managers in identifying, developing, and retaining high potential and high performing employees, contributing to a strong internal talent pipeline
* Promote and coordinate learning and development initiatives to build organisational capability
* Strengthen key processes such as performance reviews, probation, and objective setting—ensuring they reinforce the right behaviours and talent expectations
Performance Related Pay, Rewards & Bonus
* Support the introduction and ongoing embedding of performance related pay and bonus frameworks, ensuring they align with business strategy and desired culture
* Partner with the Lead HRBP to communicate reward principles clearly to managers and employees, driving understanding and transparency
* Provide guidance on how reward mechanisms link to our annual personal performance management (PPM) cycle, talent frameworks, and behavioural standards
Recruitment, Onboarding & Early Careers
* Support end-to-end recruitment to ensure a positive, consistent candidate experience aligned to our culture and employer brand
* Work with managers to define roles, assess talent, and make effective hiring decisions
* Ensure effective onboarding and probation processes that embed culture, expectations, and ways of working
HR Operations, Policy & Compliance
* Work with our HR Shared Service Centre (HR Hub) to maintain accurate HR records and support smooth delivery of all employee lifecycle processes
* Work in partnership with HRBPs and HRAs to ensure HR policies are up to date, consistently applied, and reflective of our values and culture
Projects & Continuous Improvement
* Lead or support projects such as culture initiatives, leadership capability programmes, performance-related pay implementation, and policy enhancements
* Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve employee experience, sharing best practice across the HR team
Requirements
* Strong employee relations expertise and a solid understanding of HR policies, procedures, and UK employment legislation.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build trust, manage sensitive conversations and effectively influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Well organised and able to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and deadlines
* Driving licence is essential for this role as you will be required to travel to Culligan business locations
