About PodMuse
PodMuse is a founder-to-founder podcast hosted by Aimee Smale, the creative director behind Odd Muse. Through candid conversations with inspiring entrepreneurs, PodMuse explores the real stories behind building businesses - the challenges, breakthroughs, and everything in between. We're at our earliest stages and looking for a talented Producer to help shape the podcast into something incredible. This is a rare opportunity to be part of building a show from the ground up.
The Role
As Producer, you'll be responsible for the full end-to-end production of PodMuse. From guest booking and shoot logistics, to managing edits, cutting shorts, and helping shape the social strategy, you'll ensure PodMuse runs smoothly and grows consistently.
Key Responsibilities
• Book inspiring guests and prepare interview briefs
• Manage the production calendar and coordinate shoot logistics
• Oversee editing of full-length episodes (YouTube/Spotify/Apple Podcasts)
• Create and/or brief editors on short-form cutdowns for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts
• Help define and manage the social media strategy around PodMuse
• Track performance and audience growth, sharing insights with the host
• Support sponsorship and partnership opportunities as the podcast scales
About You
• Organised and proactive, with strong project management skills
• Experience in content production (podcasts, video, or digital media)
• Confident managing both long-form and short-form edits
• Social media savvy — you understand how podcasts grow in today's landscape
• Comfortable working in a start-up style environment where you'll wear multiple hats
• Based in London and able to attend in-person recordings
Why Join PodMuse?
This is more than a production role - it's a chance to help build a podcast from day one. You'll have creative freedom, ownership, and the opportunity to grow with the show as it expands into live events, brand partnerships, and beyond.
