Lecturer in Teacher Education – Sessional
We have an exciting new role available within our teacher education department to teach on our Higher Education Level 4 and 5 Foundation Degree in Learning Support programmes. This will be a sessional lecturer position working one (or two) evenings per week on a Tuesday/Thursday evening from 5pm-9pm. The role will include delivering sessions to Level 4/5 groups of Learning Support Assistants and conducting lesson observations during the day in schools within the area.
Responsibilities
* Deliver sessions to Level 4/5 groups of Learning Support Assistants as part of the Foundation Degree in Learning Support.
* Conduct lesson observations during the day in schools within the area.
Qualifications and Experience
* Masters level qualification with extensive school experience as a teacher/leader (preferably in a Primary or SEND setting).
* Experience of supporting LSAs and newly qualified teachers.
