Training Development Specialist
We are seeking a talented individual to join Marsh as a Training Development Specialist. This hybrid working role is available for applicants based in Bristol, Worcester, Witham, Egham, Plymouth, Cardiff, Exeter, Leeds, Glasgow or Dundee.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high‑quality training that enhances employee skills and knowledge. This role requires a passion for teaching, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage and motivate learners.
In this role you will be part of the Colleague Experience team, providing training and development for enterprise colleagues across the UK.
Responsibilities
* Conduct engaging and effective training sessions for employees, utilising various instructional techniques and formats (e.g., in‑person, virtual, blended learning).
* Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and develop training materials and presentations.
* Evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics; make recommendations for improvements.
* Provide ongoing support to participants, addressing questions and concerns related to training content and application.
* Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in training and development; incorporate new methodologies into training programmes.
* Maintain accurate records of training sessions, participant progress, and feedback.
* Work closely with team managers, heads of office and regional directors to identify training needs and align programmes with organisational goals and succession planning.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in training delivery, instructional design, or a similar role.
* First‑class presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
