Overview
An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Cardiac Physiologist/Scientist to progress their career in our BSE Accredited Department at Doncaster Royal Infirmary.
Responsibilities
- Provide high quality diagnostics across the cardiac pathways, primarily in transthoracic echocardiography.
- Develop skills in scientist‑led services, including contrast lists, oncology lists and valve clinics.
- Occasionally rotate through general sections of the cardiology service, such as ambulatory ECG analysis.
- Support training delivery within the service and contribute to the training of a wide range of programmes.
Training and Development
Our department is an approved training centre for the National School of Healthcare Science, supporting training programmes including PTP, ETP, STP and apprentices. The postholder will be supported to develop postgraduate skills alongside contributing to the delivery of training.
Qualifications
- Independent in adult echocardiography and reporting.
- Hold BSE accreditation.
