In this pivotal role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and their families. You will work collaboratively with multi-agency teams to assess needs, develop support plans, and implement interventions that promote positive outcomes for children in our community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify risk factors and support needs.
* Developing, implementing, and reviewing child protection plans in line with statutory guidance.
* Building and maintaining effective relationships with children, families, and partner agencies.
* Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services.
* Maintaining accurate and timely records of casework and interventions in accordance with local policies.
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:
* A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
* Registration with Social Work England.
* Demonstrable experience in children’s safeguarding and social work practice.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and families.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage a caseload effectively.
