Supporting the commercial team in delivering duties for Rolls Royce projects, including procurement and supply chain management, with a focus on minimizing costs and ensuring quality standards.
Responsibilities include:
* Measuring, recording, and valuing work according to rules and procedures.
* Collaborating with project managers and contractors on value engineering.
* Interpreting specifications and drawings, and preparing estimates and Bills of Quantities.
* Providing input on tenders and planning commercial activities.
* Managing project claims, cost reviews, and risk assessments, especially using NEC3/4 contracts.
* Overseeing procurement processes, including documentation and interest registration.
* Customer and stakeholder management, contract vetting, and financial control.
Requirements:
* BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying (preferred).
* Experience in quantity surveying within construction or building services.
* Familiarity with NEC3 contracts and working in occupied environments.
* Proficiency in IT and strong communication skills.
* Organizational skills with a proactive, reliable, and flexible approach.
