Pastry Chef de Partie - England Company Description 30,000 per annum This role offers a great work life balance as approximately every third weekend the school is closed allowing full rest for the whole team. The pastry chef position works on a 5 out of 7 day rota, working a variety of 3 shift patterns, never finishing later than 7.30pm (unless we are hosting a function), allowing you to still enjoy your evening. This position is an all year round 52 week position. The site is fully closed over the Christmas period allowing a good rest period and time to enjoy being with family and friends. We are also closed on all Bank Holidays! Working exclusively with independent schools throughout England, Scotland and Wales, we specialise in creating a fresh and thoughtful food offer that's uniquely tailored to meet the needs of each. Blending Menu Innovation, our sports-focused Nutrition expertise and future-proof methods for Sustainability, through food we're proud to be Feeding the Independent Minds of the Future Job Description To ensure food production, standards, are carried, as agreed with the Head Pastry Chef & Executive Chef. To carry out the smooth and efficient running of the section as appropriate. To plan, prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by the company and the client. To ensure that the company's reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers. To control portion size and monitor waste. To ensure supplies are correctly issued, used and accounted for to carry out stock takes and food rotation procedures. To maintain records relating to food production activities and supplier information as required by the Director of Catering. To ensure Health and Safety and Food Safety Standards are maintained in line with company policy.
