MCS Group is working in partnership with a key client to recruit an HSEQ Officer for a site-based role supporting a high-profile infrastructure project in the Donegal, Louth, Cavan and Monaghan regions. This is a great opportunity for someone to join an established safety team and develop their career in a hands-on environment.
You'll be joining a growing safety function alongside a HSEQ Manager, Advisor and Graduate.
This is a field-focused role where you'll have the autonomy to plan your own schedule and make a real impact on safety performance on the ground.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out regular site inspections, audits, and safety walks
* Promote a positive health & safety culture across all project sites
* Support teams with inductions, training, and toolbox talks
* Assist in investigations and reporting of incidents and near misses
* Monitor compliance and ensure safe systems of work are followed
* Maintain and update health & safety documentation as required
What You\'ll Need
* Experience in a health & safety role, ideally in construction, civils, telecoms, or utilities
* Relevant HSE qualification (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent)
* Full driving licence - company van provided
* A hands-on, practical approach with excellent communication skills
* Someone trustworthy, self-motivated, and genuinely committed to site safety
