Morson Talent is recruiting experienced Marine Joiners, Sheet Metal Workers, and Thermal Insulators for the next intake of long-term contracts on behalf of our prestigious client KAEFER, based in the Glasgow shipyards.
You'll be working on the highly advanced Type 26 Frigates—a flagship naval programme—alongside skilled tradespeople in a fast-paced, professional marine environment.
The Role
These positions are suited to time-served tradespeople with previous marine experience, working as part of a team delivering high-quality insulation and fabrication solutions onboard naval vessels.
Industrial Insulator – Key Responsibilities
* Install, repair, and maintain thermal and acoustic insulation on pipes, tanks, ducts, and machinery
* Measure, cut, and fit insulation materials (fibreglass, foam, mineral wool, etc.)
* Control heat loss, prevent condensation, and reduce noise
* Inspect existing insulation and carry out repairs where required
* Work safely at all times, following site regulations and wearing PPE
Pay Rates (PAYE)
* Days: £20.09 per hour
* Nights: £30.14 per hour
* Weekends: £26.72 per hour

What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in a marine or industrial environment
* Knowledge of insulation materials and installation techniques
* Physically fit and comfortable working in demanding conditions
* Strong attention to detail with a safety-first mindset
