The role
As a Principal Technical Manager you will be a valuable part of our business, responsible for both work winning and the delivery of live projects whilst providing strong functional leadership, management, governance and excellence for all engineering activities pre and post contract across either a single large project or a portfolio of projects.
What you'll be doing
* Accountable for adherence to relevant business processes, undertaking design reviews, coaching MEP designers and managing technical actions.
* Attendance, contribution and collaboration regarding "Making a Great Start", strategy presentations and IPD workshops.
* Technical accountability for the mechanical engineering services for the project.
* Accountability for technical assessment, coaching and development of pre‑construction leaders, design project managers, project managers and engineers.
Given the nature of this position, you will be required to undergo a Basic/Standard/Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at offer stage.
