Serco has a great opportunity for a Customer Service Advisor to join the team at RAF Croughton.
You will be responsible for assisting with the efficient operation of traffic management activities, managing the use of military and commercial transportation to move personal property, classifying and arranging shipments or storage, and arranging official air travel, customs pre-clearance inspections, and quality inspections of movers.
The role includes fulfilling duties as a Senior Customs and Border Clearance Agent (SCBCA). The contractor will have an Alternate Program Manager and Alternate Stamp Custodian, designated in writing, to ensure program consistency during leave or sickness.
The role reports directly to the TMO Supervisor at RAF Croughton, with training provided on all aspects of the role.
Main responsibilities include:
1. Supporting the TMO Supervisor with all related matters.
2. Planning and organizing outbound and inbound personal property moves worldwide.
3. Preparing shipment applications, counseling forms, and customs documents.
4. Counseling personnel on personal property movements and customs requirements, reviewing travel orders, and determining transportation entitlements.
5. Assisting with vehicle movements and preparation.
6. Using computer systems to schedule pickups and deliveries.
7. Performing agriculture inspections on outbound personal property.
8. Conducting QA inspections at customer residences or by phone.
9. Inspecting moving company warehouses biannually and monthly for compliance and cleanliness.
10. Operating a left-hand drive sedan for inspections, covering local and regional areas, with occasional overnight stays.
11. Preparing and maintaining travel documents, processing pay adjustments, and supporting emergency travel arrangements.
12. Supporting cargo movements and customs procedures.
13. Arranging with third-party carriers for transportation.
14. Supporting other tasks within the AMC Contract as needed.
Requirements for the role:
* Ability to gain appropriate security clearances.

* Full clean driving license.
* Full training will be provided.
