Are you a self-motivated and technically minded individual?
Our established and respected manufacturing client is currently looking for a Service Repair Technician to join their team.
Your primary objective being to test, fault-find, and repair customer products to the highest standards.
Purpose of the Role:
* Test, fault-find, and repair customer products in line with internal procedures and specifications.
* Rebuild mechanical assemblies and systems as required.
* Work collaboratively with the materials and production teams to source repair parts.
* Prioritise work and document repairs using internal systems.
* Ensure all tested products are inspected thoroughly and associated paperwork is completed.
* Maintain, repair, and assist in the design of new and existing test equipment.
* Support ISO9001 accreditation.
* Diagnose faults down to component level.
* Raise order numbers and communicate repair updates to customers.
* Contribute to monthly reporting and technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Follow test procedures accurately to evaluate product functionality.
* Use Microsoft Office software to document and report work progress.
* Manage a varied workload and prioritise tasks independently.
* Maintain high numerical accuracy in data analysis and documentation.
* Carry out mechanical repairs; soldering experience would be beneficial.
Qualifications and Experience:
* A qualification in Electronic and Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Experience in component-level fault finding and repair is highly desirable.
* Solid understanding of electronic testing procedures as well as electro-mechanical build and mechanical fitting.
* Computer literacy is essential, particularly with Microsoft Office tools.

* Proactive with a willingness to learn and adapt.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Positive “can do” attitude and ability to work under pressure.
* Strong communication skills—both verbal and written.
* Ability to build strong working relationships with internal teams.
