Your Role as a Cover Supervisor: Supervise classes during teacher absence, maintaining a calm, structured environment. Deliver pre-set lesson materials and keep students on task. Promote positive behaviour and support students with their learning. Communicate effectively with teaching staff to ensure continuity and progress. Uphold school values and contribute to an inclusive, respectful atmosphere. What You’ll Need: Experience working with young people (in school, youth work, sports coaching, or similar). Strong communication skills and the ability to manage classroom behaviour. A flexible, proactive mindset and a genuine passion for education. A degree or equivalent qualification is advantageous, but not essential. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
