Job Description:

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, assisting in ensuring all incidents are resolved according to procedures and meeting contractual KPIs. The role involves working as part of a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.
What you’ll do:
* Handle incoming phone calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
* Create network incident tickets based on customer reports.
* Action Service Requests.
* Allocate/despatch tickets to technical support, field engineering groups, and other service providers.
* Manage incident tickets, ensuring regular and comprehensive updates.
* Organise traffic management, coordinating with traffic management providers, regional control teams, and field resources.
* Liaise with customers to provide updates on network incidents.
* Coordinate with utility companies regarding power loss issues affecting the network.
Who you are:
You will have previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.
Key Requirements:
* Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
* Good communication skills and ability to liaise with people at all levels of seniority.
* Good understanding of Microsoft Office packages.
