Early Years Practitioner – ABC Day Nursery, Willenhall
Location: Willenhall
Hours: Term time only, Monday to Friday, flexible hours between 8 am-6 pm
Salary: £12.71 per hour

ABC Day Nursery is a family-owned nursery that has proudly served the Willenhall community for over 30 years. Our team is our strength, with many staff members having worked together for over 10 years, creating a supportive and loyal work environment. We provide a fun and nurturing atmosphere for both children and staff, ensuring a balanced and caring approach to early years education.
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team. This is a term-time position, where you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the children's development within our warm, safe, and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality care and education to children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Create a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment where children can learn and play.
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote children's physical, emotional, and intellectual development.
* Observe and monitor children's development and behaviour, ensuring their needs are met and any concerns are addressed.
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, using observations to plan next steps.
* Communicate effectively and professionally with parents, providing updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns.
* Work collaboratively with fellow team members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.
* Ensure the nursery is kept clean, organized, and well-maintained in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
Experience and Qualifications:
* Previous experience working in a nursery or early childhood setting is preferred, but not essential.
* Knowledge of child development and the Early Years curriculum is highly desirable.
* Ability to engage and interact with children in a positive, nurturing manner.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing positively to the nursery environment.
