We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Fosse Way, a Category C resettlement prison in Leicester.
HMP Fosse Way opened in May 2023. Its state-of-the-art design and facilities offer a secure environment to provide skills and qualifications to the men, enabling them to secure meaningful employment on release with the aim of reducing reoffending rates.
This position is bank and you'll receive an hourly rate of £23.

Main duties of the job
As a Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will include:
* Providing outstanding, patient-centered care, seeking and acting on patient feedback to ensure care is personalized and informed by what matters to them.
* Focusing on providing a safe and secure medicines management service, maintaining patient medical records to the standard, and following standard operating procedures diligently.
* Delivering non-judgmental care within professional standards, including timely administration of medicines and analyzing cost-effective prescribing as per our medicines policy.
* Working as a key member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team to make a real difference.

* NVQ Level 3 or above, BTEC or equivalent

Experience in hospital, community, or prison settings is desirable but not essential.
