Job Description: Practice Supervisor Who You Are You are an experienced and qualified Social Worker with a high level of expertise in managing social complexities and risk of harm in children's services. You hold a recognized qualification in Social Work and are registered with the HCPC, ensuring your registration is maintained and renewed as necessary. What the Job Involves This role involves being a first-tier line manager supporting the Team Manager in delivering efficient social work services. You will supervise the practice of child and family social workers, developing their skills and ensuring excellent practice aligned with statutory duties. You will manage 6-15 social workers, supervise students, trainees, and less experienced professionals, oversee budget and financial assessments, and exercise statutory powers where needed. Additionally, you will contribute to service planning, review case progress, and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed. The position includes hybrid working with duty weeks requiring onsite presence every third week.
