Pay
Starting from £14.76 an hour, increasing to £15.97 for stores inside the M25, with additional payments possible depending on location.
Hours
New colleagues receive a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week. Flexibility is available for a minimum of 12 hours per week.
Availability Window
 * Sun: 14:00 – 23:00
 * Fri: 05:30 – 14:30
 * Sat: 14:00 – 23:00
Responsibilities
 * Work in a fast‑paced retail environment.
 * Own and run duty shifts, coordinating the team to deliver a clean, well‑stocked store that exceeds customer expectations.
 * Be present for customers, listening and ensuring they leave with what they came for.
 * Identify ways to improve service, coaching colleagues and giving feedback.
 * Support colleagues in‑store, ensuring a safe place to work and shop.
 * Maintain a clear understanding of store performance and assist managers in delivering actions that improve the store.
 * Lead from the front, setting a great example for colleagues.
 * Coordinate the team to deliver a fuss‑free shopping experience and support daily priorities.
 * Open and close the store, complete duty cover and ensure all decisions are safe.
 * Act as the go‑to person for colleagues in the absence of a manager for day‑to‑day queries.
 * Ensure the store is clean, tidy and well‑presented.
 * Support managers on seasonal, community and charity events.
 * Communicate updates, changes and staff information effectively.
 * Follow health and safety routines and procedures.
 * Recognise and celebrate great service from team members.
Qualifications
 * Great role model, delivering thoughtful customer service.
 * Strong communication skills, able to keep the team well informed.
 * Leadership ability, capable of overseeing the store in the manager’s absence.
 * Good decision‑making, flexible thinking and comfortable handling change.
 * Motivational presence, inspiring the team to exceed expectations.
 * Curiosity, always looking for ideas and opportunities to serve customers, communities and planet.
 * Minimum of 18 years old.
