⏰ Hours: Monday to Friday
💷 Pay: Up to £24.38 per hour
Team: East Staffordshire Children in Care & Care Leavers
👥 Team Size: 7 members
🏢 Office Location: Burton Area Office, Grange Street, Burton Upon Trent, Staffordshire, DE14 2ER
🚗 Parking: Free parking available onsite
What You'll Be Doing:
1. 🧸 Supporting children in care and care leavers to achieve positive outcomes
2. 📝 Conducting assessments and creating care plans tailored to individual needs
3. 🤝 Collaborating closely with families, carers, and partner agencies
4. 📞 Providing advice, guidance, and safeguarding support to vulnerable children
5. 👩👧👦 Ensuring children's voices are heard and their wellbeing is prioritised
6. 📚 Participating in team meetings and contributing to practice development
Pay Rates (In line with MOU):
7. Social Worker / Band 1
ASYE + at least 2 years' experience
💷 £28.55 per hour
8. Senior Social Worker / Band 2
ASYE + at least 3 years' experience
💷 £30.57 per hour
9. Advanced/Senior Practitioner / Assistant Team Manager
Includes caseload management + supervisory/practice development duties
💷 £33.30 per hour
