£446.40-475 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)
The School and Role
We are seeking a patient and reliable 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 pupil. The role involves providing in-class support for a pupil with Autism. You will work closely with the class teacher and SEN team, build a positive relationship, maintain clear boundaries, and provide consistent support to promote engagement and wellbeing.
You’ll work 08:30 – 15:30 Monday to Friday
Requirements
The desired Teaching Assistant will:
1. Ideally have experience working with primary school aged children.
2. Have experience supporting children with Autism.
3. Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
4. A passion for the progress of primary school pupils.
5. An ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
6. The want to learn, taking initiative and have good drive and resilience to succeed in the role.
7. Ability to build positive relationships.
