SEN Teacher Location: Scarborough, North Yorkshire Start Date: Immediately Contract: Full Time, Term Time Only Salary: £150 – £250 per day GSL Education is working with a specialist provision in Scarborough that caters to students with a range of additional needs, including ASC, MLD, SLD, SEMH, and communication difficulties. The school is currently seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to work with a class of pupils aged 10 to 12, with an immediate start date. This is a full-time, long-term role offering a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of young learners with diverse needs. About the Role as an SEN Teacher: Delivering creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons to a small group of KS3 learners (Years 6–8). Creating a nurturing classroom environment that promotes confidence, independence, and learning. Working closely with support staff and therapists to deliver an inclusive and consistent approach. Planning and assessing lessons in line with EHCP targets and school expectations. As the Ideal SEN Teacher, you should have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) – Essential. Previous experience working in an SEN or alternative provision setting. Knowledge of autism spectrum conditions, SEMH, and differentiated teaching strategies.
