This is a wonderful opportunity to join my client, an exciting, highly-regarded Multidisciplinary Consultancy, known for lending their skills and expertise to a variety of projects across the transport planning, infrastructure, and water sectors. They are currently searching for a driven, practiced SuDS Designer, who is willing to take on a number of challenging projects across the region. You will be based near the bustling, picturesque city of St. Albans.

Responsibilities for the role of SuDS Designer include:
7. Developing detailed Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) designs for a variety of projects, particularly new residential developments
8. Contributing to planning applications and construction phases
9. Producing a range of sustainable drainage and infrastructure solutions across the local region
10. Collaborating with a team of experts in the field, contributing to a range of exciting projects
Required skills and experience for the role of SuDS Designer include:
11. A First Degree in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, or a similar, relevant field
12. Demonstrable experience of SuDS and wider Civil Engineering design, particularly for residential projects and new developments, in a UK-based consultancy (or Local Authority) setting
13. Excellent working knowledge of the relevant software systems, including AutoCAD, Causeway Flow, InfoDrainage/MicroDrainage, Civils 3D, etc.
14. Considerable experience of producing detailed designs in support of planning applications and at varying stages of construction
15. Competent understanding of the relevant Section Agreements (e.g., S104, S38, etc.)
16. Good working knowledge of flood risk and mitigation, including Flood Risk Assessments, etc.
Desirable skills and experience for the role of SuDS Designer include:
17. An advanced qualification in a relevant discipline
18. Chartership Status with a relevant Professional Body (e.g., ICE, CIWEM, etc.), or actively working to attain this
19. Possess a full, valid UK Driving Licence
