Management AccountantLocation: Flexible (Remote / Hybrid / Office options available)Sector: Technology / Managed Services / Professional ServicesEmployment Type: Full-timeThe RoleYou will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, financial reports, variance analysis, and commentary in line with agreed deadlines. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation of Management Accounts efficientlyAssist with budgeting and forecastingPrepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.Business partner with non-finance stakeholdersPrepare financial reports for senior managementManage month-end journals (Account Receivables and accounts payable).Support VAT returns and external auditsSkills & CompetenciesStrong accounting and analytical skills with high attention to detail.Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).Experience using accounting systems.Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.Strong organisational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset.Collaborative approach and willingness to work cross-functionally.Experience RequiredPart-qualified or fully qualified ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent), or QBE (Qualified By Experience)Demonstrable experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally within management accounting.Solid understanding of management accounts, balance sheets, and financial controls.By applying you will be registered as a candidate with Marc Daniels Specialist Recruitment Limited.
