Our client, a leading company in the Healthcare sector, is experiencing a period of growth and is looking to recruit a Senior Service Desk Engineer responsible for providing technical support to onsite users.
Job Title: Senior Service Desk Engineer
Location: Spinningfields, Manchester (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £35,000 + Excellent Benefits package and holiday allowance!
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing Active Directory
* Providing desktop support
* Managing Office 365
* Troubleshooting network and email issues
* Troubleshooting Microsoft applications
* Managing new user and leaver administration
* Managing antivirus (ESET & Sophos)
* Advanced management of networking devices (Firewall/Switches)
* Managing storage troubleshooting (SANs & NAS)
* Managing SQL Server
* Hardware and software troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Managing server management and maintenance
Requirements:
* Relevant IT qualifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, or CompTIA
* Minimum of 2 years experience providing IT support to clients
* Experience in managing some or all of the key responsibilities listed above
* Skills in Virtualisation, Networking, Storage, Azure, or Server Management
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to industry changes
Desirable:
* Management of networking devices (Firewall/Switches)
* InTune/MDM skills
* Storage troubleshooting (SANs & NAS)
* SQL Server
* Knowledge of Virtualisation, Networking, Storage, Azure, or Server Management
