Manufacturing Engineer – Automation
Location: Marlow, Buckinghamshire
Copello have partnered with a leading aerospace manufacturer in Marlow who are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer - Automation to join their team.
This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in developing and maintaining automation systems and a passion for integrating robotics into precision manufacturing environments.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and maintain new automation and robotic systems for production environments. Support the introduction and commissioning of robotic cells into existing manufacturing lines. Work collaboratively with the Automation Engineer to enhance current automated solutions and optimize performance. Participate in product design reviews Apply mechanical engineering knowledge to support the integration of automation systems with production equipment and tooling. Drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis, data-driven decision-making, and hands-on problem solving.
What You’ll Bring:
Practical knowledge of industrial robotics, automation controls, and production automation. Hands-on experience introducing robotic cells into production lines and improving existing solutions (desirable) Mechanical engineering background (preferred), with either formal education or strong learned/hands-on experience. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges. Experience developing products specifically for automated production (desirable)
