Reporting to the Head of Revenue UK, NI and Continental Europe, the Group Revenue Manager role exists to maximise revenue across NI and Continental Europe region by supporting and coaching the revenue managers in their role and to work closely with the Central Revenue team to ensure synergies across all properties.
Key Responsibilities: To hold face-to-face revenue meetings with selected hotels to ensure maximum revenue is achieved. This will involve regular travel to hotel properties in the region.
To identify underperforming hotels versus budget and versus competitive set and execute action plans to remediate issues.
Train and coach Revenue / Reservations Mangers to the Dalata standard.
To carry out a rebrand of hotels changing to a Dalata brand while maintaining the rooms revenue and ensuring systems are fully set up.
To manage new hotel openings and put into place the hotel revenue strategy in advance alongside recruitment of the Revenue and Reservations Teams.
To communicate regularly with the Central Revenue team to ensure synergies.
Review daily, weekly and monthly reports from each hotel.
To aid the hotels in completing their annual rooms revenue budget.
Focus the hotels on accurate forecasting of rooms revenue on a daily/weekly basis.
To guide each hotel in their overall rate strategy, focusing on all market segments.
To manage the implementation of new systems or updates, working closely with the Reservations Training and Standards Manager.
To provide Revenue systems support, where required.
To develop and coach a pipeline of future Revenue Managers.
To maintain positive communication with the hotels and Central Office at all times.
To carry out regular training, day courses and telephone training.
Aid in the recruitment process of Revenue / Reservations employees.
Key Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have: a minimum five years' experience in a Revenue Manager position
