Ocean Freight Import Supervisor - Feltham - Up to £45,000
We're working with a well-established global freight forwarder who is looking to add an experienced Ocean Freight Import Supervisor to their Feltham team. As Ocean Freight Import Supervisor, you'll be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the import operation. Your role will include:
Overseeing ocean import shipments from origin through to final delivery
Leading and supporting a small team, helping them perform at their best
Ensuring all customs procedures and documentation are completed accurately and on time
Acting as a key point of contact for customers, carriers, and internal teams
Spotting ways to improve processes and enhance the customer experience
Assisting management with KPIs, reporting, and planningAbout you
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
Solid experience in ocean freight imports within a freight forwarding environment
A good working knowledge of customs processes and documentation
Confident communication skills and experience leading or mentoring a team
The ability to stay organised and calm in a fast-paced environment
Good IT skills and familiarity with freight management systems
