Goodwin Academy have an opportunity for a Deputy Attendance Improvement Coordinator to join their vibrant state of the art academy. This is a new position in which the successful candidate will support the Attendance Improvement Coordinator in helping to reduce absence levels, ensuring our students have the best possible opportunity to succeed. Knowledge of attendance in schools, monitoring, recording and referral processes would be beneficial.
Responsibilities
* Work with School and Trust staff, the Attendance Advisory Service and parent/carers to improve and maintain attendance and punctuality.
* Support in the development and maintenance of initiatives to motivate pupils to achieve outstanding school attendance.
* Work accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring attendance registers are completed accurately.
* Be confident in liaising with parents/carers regarding attendance and punctuality matters.
