Are you passionate about giving children the best possible start in life? A welcoming primary school inLancasteris looking for aLevel 3 Early Years Teaching Assistantto join their dedicated EYFS team this September.
You’ll work closely with the class teacher to support children in theEarly Years Foundation Stage, helping to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive. This is a full-time, term-time role – perfect for someone who loves working with young children and wants to make a real difference.
* Support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework
* Assist in planning and delivering fun, creative, and age-appropriate activities
* Help maintain a positive and welcoming classroom environment
* Observe and record children’s progress, sharing feedback with the teaching team
* Work closely with colleagues and parents to meet individual needs
* Afull and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification(e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma or equivalent)
* Previous experience in an EYFS setting (school or nursery)
* A good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and safeguarding practices
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children
* A supportive and friendly school environment
